Mr Avin Mansookram

Avin is a seasoned expert in cloud technologies and satellite data management, with a rich background in applying cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems. Having a background degrees in Electrical Engineering and Commerce and completing the Space Studies Program hosted by the International Space University in Strasbourg, Avin has developed a deep understanding of the complexities involved in Earth Observation data and its critical importance to sectors ranging from agriculture, urban planning to disaster management.

With a career of over 25 years across various sectors, Avin has worked extensively with AWS cloud services to enhance data accessibility, security and cost optimisation. Avin’s career has been marked by a commitment to innovation and excellence, having collaborated with global teams to implement scalable solutions that address both current and future needs in data management.

Avin is recognised for his pioneering approach to integrating advanced technologies like AI and machine learning with traditional data processes. His work has contributed significantly to advancements in real-time data processing and has facilitated numerous projects that leverage cloud storage to make EO data more actionable and impactful.
